Structure Fire at Nail Time Salon
At 14:48 Company 12 was dispatched for a structure fire at Nail Time Salon. Forest VFD was 2nd due. 1213 arrived on scene to find heavy smoke coming from the building. 1202 had command. 1202 advised Timberlake Rd west bound would be shut down. Engine 12 with 5 arrived on scene and began a aggressive attack. Eng. 12 had to back out due to the roof starting to collapse. Lynchburg Fire Dept. along with Lyn-Dan Heights where also dispatched for assistance with the fire. Truck 2 and Truck 15 where assigned to vent group. Due to not being able to go into Nail Time, another attack group was assigned to go into the building next door and breach the wall to get to the fire. Fire was under control at 15:49. Salvage and overhaul was done by all. All units where clear at 18:37
