2 Car MVA on 460 with Entrapment
A few minutes after 4 AM company 12 received the call for a 2 car motor vehicle accident (MVA) on 460 westbound just prior to the Timberlake Rd exit. Chief 12 arrived on scene and confirmed 1 entrapped patient as Rescue 12 was enroute. Rescue 12 arrived on scene and performed extrication, with assistance from Lyn-Dan Heights VFD, of the patient with removal of the roof and door. Traffic control was also provided which included shutting down 460 west for approximately 45 minutes. 1 Lane of 460 remained closed for approximately 3:30 hours as state police investigated and the vehicles were removed.
